Black Fancy Tiger Caridina Shrimp

Black Fancy Tiger Caridina Shrimp are celebrated for their deep ebony coloration accentuated by striking tiger striping and intricate patterning. These specialized dwarf shrimp thrive exclusively in well-established aquariums featuring mature biofilm substrates, stable water chemistry, and consistent environmental parameters. They excel as efficient algae and detritus consumers, naturally controlling unwanted growth while maintaining water quality and biological balance. Requiring temperatures between 65-75°F with gentle circulation and densely planted layouts, they demonstrate complex foraging behaviors and fascinating social interactions. Their minimal biosignature permits successful populations in compact nano systems without compromising water parameters. An excellent choice for experienced aquarists seeking to combine striking visual contrast with active ecological participation in their carefully designed planted aquascapes.
