Yellow Neocaridina shrimp are a vibrant freshwater species prized for their luminous golden-yellow pigmentation and exceptional hardiness. These adaptable invertebrates thrive across a wide temperature spectrum (65-80°F) and demonstrate considerable tolerance to varying pH levels, making them accessible to aquarists of diverse experience levels. Their prolific algae consumption and biofilm grazing provide valuable biological contributions to tank ecosystems. Yellow variants exhibit strong reproductive capacity in planted environments with adequate shelter and stable water parameters. Sustain coloration vibrancy and breeding success through high-quality sinking pellets supplemented with blanched vegetation. Their peaceful disposition and minimal metabolic demands render them excellent candidates for densely planted nano systems and community aquaria. Ideal for establishing sustainable, visually striking colonies with straightforward husbandry protocols.
